Commitment to Community

A Fundraising Program sponsored by Bank of Ann Arbor

At Bank of Ann Arbor, the Downriver community is very important to us.  The employee’s at Bank of Ann Arbor' Trenton Office have all graduated from high schools in the Downriver area.  We believe in giving back to the schools within the communities that we grew up in.  We feel that by supporting the schools, we will become a partner in the success of the communities in which we live.

What is our Commitment to Community?

Commitment to Community is a fundraising opportunity that will help to raise money for any school class, team, group or club.  There is no selling required and it is a year-round fundraising opportunity.

Any employee, parent, or community member who mentions the Commitment to Community fundraiser when they use Bank of Ann Arbor for the financing of their new home or refinance of their current home will receive .25% of their loan amount* donated to the school organization of their choice.  For example, if you finance a $100,000 loan, there will be a $250 donation made from Bank of Ann Arbor in your name to your school band, athletic club, elementary, middle or high school class, etc.

What you can do?

Spread the word.  Notify teachers and parents of this opportunity.  There is a potential to earn a lot of money for your school.  Send this notice home with students, place in teacher mailboxes, post on bulletin boards, announce at school events and display on your website.  If a person is in the market to purchase a new home or refinance their current home, why not make it two-fold and benefit an organization at the same time.
